(Friday, June 2, 2006) My wife and I enrolled for a pond design, one-day course given by Sacramento Koi we plan to incorporate their system into our design. Therefore, I decided to create a scaled rendering of the proposed project. Moreover, we decided to make use of the slope by fabricating an above pond deck for viewing and entertaining. So, if anyone out there is a contractor that knows how to build decks, please contact me.



Here is a detail view of the filter system we plan on installing. If anyone out there has this system and would like to share, please email me and I will posts your comments.

Recap of the day... We are scheduled for the seminar on June 10. I will take plenty of images and return with more ideas to share. As of now, the proposed pond will be 15,000 gallons. I still need to visit the city and get my ideas approved.
